Guillotine Glass System
An alternative solution for high-rise buildings, restaurants, cafés, hotels and patisseries. Because the bottom-most glass in the system can open, all of the glass panels can be wiped clean. The glass panels move horizontally, both up and down.
The system moves by motor. It can be started by button or remote control — both can be used. 4+16+4 mm tempered glass is used; the combination can be changed on request.
The Guillotine System is designed by WINPERAX R&D with customer satisfaction, quality and easy installation in mind. The profile design and registration is patent-certified by the Turkish Patent Institute (TPE).
The total internal cavity of the bases is 24 mm. Glass thickness can be changed on request.
Aluminum wall thickness is 2 mm.
The number of glass panels in the system can be applied as 2 or 3 on request.
Thanks to the durable chain used in the system, the glass panels move up and down smoothly and silently. As an option, a durable rope-cored 20 mm x 25 mm belt can be used.
Our side rails contain 8 stainless-steel bearings to keep the glass moving up and down in a balanced way.
Our systems use optional motors (LCF, BECKER, CUPON or SOMFY MOTOR).
Our maximum dimensions are 5500 mm width and 2200 mm height. Dimensions can be changed in combinations on request.
Thanks to our supported profiles, there is no flexing or swaying whatsoever.
Up to 20 systems can be operated simultaneously with a single remote.
When closed, it self-locks and cannot be opened from inside or outside.
Thanks to the modular side rails in our system, in the event of any renovation or glass breakage, repair work can easily be done without damaging the system or dismantling the product.
