Awning and Shading Systems

The folding awning system is designed for use across larger areas in winter gardens, hotels, restaurants, cafés and patisseries. Whatever the weather, it does not rust or crack and operates without interruption. It does not detract from the architectural appearance in outdoor spaces.

Our folding awning products are manufactured from aluminum profiles. The system and its LED lights are operated via remote control. The LED lights are concealed inside the aluminum profiles. The folding awning system is fully secure, sturdy and watertight.

Which awning and shading products do you manufacture?

We produce four main products: Olympos (170) and Side (150) rail-mounted folding awnings, motorized shading for wide open areas; Wintent Pen-Ten umbrella system for spot shading; and Zip Curtain, a motorized outdoor screen with vertical rails.

What is the difference between the Olympos and Side series?

Both are rail-mounted folding awning systems. Olympos (170) is the premium version with a thicker profile (90×170×3 mm), wider spans and 15 cm snow-load capacity. Side (150) is optimized for standard residential use with an 81×150×2.5 mm honeycomb-pattern rail; both deliver Beaufort 6 wind resistance.

What is a Zip Curtain and when is it preferred?

The Zip Curtain is a motorized screen with screen fabric that moves vertically between aluminum rails. It is ideal for pergola side enclosures, balcony and terrace side protection, and café and restaurant outdoor areas for wind/UV protection. It can be produced up to a maximum width of 450 cm.

Is the awning fabric UV- and water-resistant?

PVC-based or acrylic woven fabrics are used in the Olympos, Side and Wintent series; screen fabric is used in the Zip Curtain. All fabrics are UV-protected and resistant to outdoor conditions, providing long service life against wind, snow and rain.

How does a motorized awning work?

All of our awning series use a remote-controlled tubular motor (with RTS radio signal in the Olympos and Side series). Open/close control is via remote; with optional wind and sun sensors, automatic operation is possible.
