Folding Awning System - Standard Rail
The folding awning system is designed for use over larger areas in winter gardens, hotels, restaurants, cafés and patisseries. Whatever the weather conditions, it does not rust, crack or experience any disruption in operation. It does not detract from architectural appearance in outdoor spaces.
Our folding awning products are produced from aluminum profiles. The system and the LED lights within it are controlled by remote control. The LED lights are concealed inside the aluminum profiles. A gutter system is integrated into the front of the product. In addition, during installation, the system is designed to operate completely trouble-free thanks to the use of stainless inox connection bolts and components.
Operation of the system is achieved by retracting the awning fabric on top at a certain speed. If desired, sunlight can be blocked or sunlight can be utilized. The Folding Awning System is a fully secure, robust and watertight system. The fabrics used have blackout properties, are flame-retardant and unaffected by sunlight.
Rail awning system fabric is PVC-based — three-layer Black-Out fabric.
Total fabric weight is 850 g/m². It retains its properties between -30 °C and +70 °C. (DIN 53361)
Tensile strength 32/28 daN.
The fabric is waterproof, rot-resistant, light-blocking and flame-retardant.
Fabric and welt seams are produced with a 25 kW HF (high-frequency) fully automatic welding machine.
The system is designed to withstand a 15 cm snow load and Beaufort scale 6 wind force.
The motor is controlled with secure RTS remote-control technology; thanks to the long-range antenna integrated inside the motor, it operates even from behind reinforced concrete walls.
The system operates by remote-control radio signal. Modulation type AM 433-92 MHz — TGM-approved frequency band, with a CE certified transceiver.
Each module consists of 3 mechanism-equipped carrier axles. The carrier rail axle profiles are honeycomb-structured at 81x150x2.5 mm dimensions in 6060 hydro Norwegian-origin thermal-12 aluminum. (STANDARD RAIL)
The front beam profiles with rain drainage gutter are 150 mm x 150 mm x 2.5 mm cross section in 6060 hydro Norwegian-origin thermal-12 aluminum.
The carrier leg profiles are 130 mm x 90 mm x 2.5 mm cross section in 6060 hydro Norwegian-origin thermal-12 aluminum.
Concealed LEDs are used in the aluminum cornices.
The rail awning system is driven by a T10 timing belt (steel reinforced).
Electrostatic powder coating is applied.
Water- and wind-tight gaskets are used at the joining surfaces between the aluminum system and the fabric.
The T10 timing belt tensioning box has an easy-access, hinged cover for adjustment.
Drop-watertight, silicone-treated elastic weather strips and channels are applied over the BLACK-OUT membrane in the system channels for water collection.
When the system is in the closed position, an 85 cm protective canopy made of trapezoid sheet metal is fitted over the fabric storage area.
The metal construction is electrostatic paint coated over galvanized.
The travelling roof axles are 62x80 mm in cross section for the starter and locomotive axles, and 62x45 mm in cross section for the intermediate axles.
A pair of travelling wheels is mounted on each axle.
The system is designed for all four seasons.
The mechanism has a 2-year warranty, the remote-controlled motor a 2-year warranty, and the Black-Out fabric a 2-year warranty.
