The folding awning system is designed for use over larger areas in winter gardens, hotels, restaurants, cafés and patisseries. Whatever the weather, it does not rust, crack or fail to operate. It does not compromise architectural appearance in outdoor spaces.
Our folding awning products are manufactured from aluminum profiles. The system and its built-in LED lighting are operated by remote control. The LED lights are concealed inside the aluminum profiles. A gutter system is integrated at the front of the unit. In addition, stainless inox connection bolts and parts are used during installation, so that the system is engineered for completely trouble-free operation.
The system operates by retracting the fabric on top at a controlled speed and folding it back. You can block the sun, or take advantage of it as desired. The folding awning system is fully secure, durable and watertight. The fabrics used have blackout properties — they are flame-resistant and UV-stable.

Rail awning system fabric is PVC-based — triple-layer Black-Out fabric.
Total fabric weight is 850 g/m². Retains its properties between -30 °C and +70 °C. (DIN 53361)

The fabric is waterproof, rot-proof, light-blocking and flame-retardant.
Fabric and keder seams are produced with a fully automatic 25 kW high-frequency (HF) welding machine.
The system is engineered to withstand a 15 cm snow load and Beaufort scale 6 wind intensity.
The motor uses safe RTS remote-control technology; the long-range integrated antenna inside the motor allows operation even from behind reinforced concrete walls.
The system runs on a remote-control radio signal. AM modulation type, 433.92 MHz TGM approved frequency band, with CE-certified receiver/transmitter.
Each module consists of 3 mechanism-driven carrier shafts. Carrier rail shaft profiles are honeycomb-structured 90x170x3mm 6060 hydr Norwegian-origin thermal 12 aluminum. (HEAVY-DUTY RAIL)
Front beam profiles with rain drainage gutter measure 150mm x 150mm x 2.5mm in cross-section, 6060 hydr Norwegian-origin thermal 12 aluminum.
Carrier-leg profiles measure 130mm x 90mm x 2.5mm in cross-section, 6060 hydr Norwegian-origin thermal 12 aluminum.
Concealed LEDs are used in the aluminum cornices.
Rail awning system motion is provided by a T10 timing belt (steel-reinforced).
Electrostatic powder coating is applied.
Water- and wind-tight gaskets are used at the contact surfaces between the aluminum system and the fabric.
The T10 timing-belt tensioner box has an easy-access hinged cover for adjustment.
Drop-watertight siliconized elastic dust skirts and channels are applied over the BLACK-OUT membrane in the system channels.
When the system is in the closed position, an 85 cm trapezoidal sheet protective canopy is built over the fabric collection area.
The metal construction is electrostatically coated over a galvanized base.
The travelling roof shafts are 62x80mm in cross-section for the start and locomotive, and 62mmx45mm for the intermediate shafts.
A pair of running wheels is fitted to each shaft.
The system is designed to withstand four-season conditions.
The mechanism is warrantied for 2 years, the remote-controlled motor for 2 years, and the Black-out fabric for 2 years.
