Aspendos Glass
Bioclimatic Systems — applicable in any space — combine folding and retracting motion in a way no other retractable roof system in the world offers. Thanks to glass louvers that can open at any angle, you can take advantage of daylight to whatever degree you want.
Through the folding motion of the glass louvers, ventilation is provided through the roof without losing the shading function. Even when the system is open, the specially designed glass louvers allow ventilation without being affected by rain or snow.
Thanks to the folding motion of the glass louvers, the exterior of the louvers can be cleaned from inside without the need to climb onto the roof. Aluminum parts are colored with electrostatic oven paint and can be applied in any color requested. Bioclimatic Systems are the best solution for venues such as restaurants and cafés where smoking is restricted indoors.
Technical Specifications
Louvers are 4+12+4 comfort tempered insulated glass. Maximum system width is 300 cm.
Aluminum profiles are 6063 – T6 F25 (75–80 Brinell hardness) grade.
To prevent dust and dirt water on top of the louvers from spilling down during motion, the louvers feature a grooved internal design.
The system can be installed flat or inclined. Thanks to the four-sided gutter, water ingress is prevented without the need for slope.
Panels operate on an axis and have the ability to retract on demand.
Glass louvers provide full transparency inside the space.
Metal accessories are galvanized + electrostatic oven painted. 608 ZZ stainless steel bearings provide smooth and silent motion.
Panels can open axially at a minimum angle of 100 degrees.
Remote control and optional Android/Apple control. Optional rain, sun and wind sensors.
All aluminum profiles are coated using electrostatic powder paint technology.
Motion is transmitted between the motor and moving mechanism via a T-10 timing belt.
Screws are chrome stainless. Flange application screws are M8*80 sleeved steel anchors with galvanized coating.
EPDM gaskets are heat resistant. Watertight sealant is used for water insulation.
Vertical and horizontal main carriers are 128×170×3 mm. Capacity of 50 kg + 25 kg/m² distributed load and 50 kg/m² wind load.
Concealed LED lighting on all four sides; light intensity is adjustable via dimmer control.
